Simon was brought into St Giles as a stray after being abandoned and left to fend for himself. When he first arrived, he was extremely underweight and clearly very sad.
Since being at St Giles they have watched him come on in leaps and bounds and now he’s a fun loving, bouncy puppy! They believe that he would thrive in a household with another playful dog or equally as the only pet in the home.
His loving personality has made him a firm favourite around the centre, but he can be a little shy in new situations. At only a year old, he’ll need owners who are willing to continue his training, and dedicate time to helping him become the perfect companion we know he’ll be.
Simon is a playful lad who loves zoomies. As is common with Lurchers, he would need to be in a secure environment in order to be off the lead. As playful as he is, Simon also loves to relax after playtime, so he would suit an owner who has lots of time to spend at home with him to give him lots of cuddles.
Due to his breed, Simon would suit a cat-free home where he can relax peacefully. His ideal home would be with older children (14+). Find out more at: https://stgilesanimalwelfare.co.uk/adoptions/simon
