The Met Office have issued an amber warning for Taunton and surrounding areas for wind on Saturday (7th December) and the most severe red warning has been issued for the north somerset coast.

The strongest winds will ease from the west through the afternoon.
The most severe red warning has been issued for the north Somerset coast from 3am to 11am on Saturday with the Met Office warning saying that Gusts of 90 mph or more are possible over coasts and hills of west and south Wales, as well as funnelling through the Bristol Channel with some very large waves on exposed beaches.
