2 fire appliances and an officer from Taunton were mobilised to Williton Road, Combe Florey, Bishops Lydeard on Friday 22nd November evening, following a request from Ambulance for our attendance to a 1 vehicle RTC, where it was believed the occupants of the vehicle were trapped.
Upon arrival it was confirmed that both Police and Ambulance were on scene and after liaising with them it was found that, out of the 2 occupants/casualties in the vehicle, one female casualty was trapped. Crews set to work stabilising the vehicle before working alongside paramedics to extricate her, using hydraulic cutting equipment.
Once released both casualties were left in the care of Ambulance crews whilst we made the vehicle and scene safe.
